How fast does it work?
PEA, the fastest part of the formula, helps about two dogs in three. Those dogs usually show first relief around day 14 after reaching the full dose. The published research shows PEA at its strongest around eight weeks. The gut, immune and barrier layers build over 4 to 12 weeks and settle around day 120.
Can I use it instead of Apoquel?
No. Apoquel works fast on the itch signal; this works on the causes underneath. Many customers use both — the medication for flare control, this as the ongoing foundation. After three to six months some owners find they and their vet can discuss reducing the dose.
I've tried probiotics and they didn't help.

My dog got softer stools when we started.
Common in the first week or two while the gut flora shifts, and it usually settles by day 14. Use the slower build-up: a quarter dose, then half, then three quarters, then full over about twelve days. If it continues past 48 hours, drop back a step.
